Last year, two young women founded the start-up ‘Ankla Korean Food’ in the centre of Barcelona. Their product is the Korean corn dog, a baked version of the hot dog, which is filled with either mozzarella or sausage, coated in batter and deep-fried. The highlight is the homemade sauces. The Korean corn dogs are served on skewers or in a tasting box.
The young, international crowd naturally turns to the OIDO menu. The founders use Instagram to attract attention to ANKLA — and can offer their products instantly. Their first branch is already up and running.
